Eligibility Requirement: Applicants must be residents of District #3, Grand Bassa County

Contract Duration:      Three (3) months, with the possibility of renewal

The Data Clerk will support the Liberia Revenue Authority’s Real Property Decentralization Project in District #3, Grand Bassa County, by accurately entering Tax Identification and Property Data. This role requires attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare, compile, and sort documents for data entry using platforms like Kobo Collect.
  • Review source documents for accuracy before entry into the Tax Administration System.
  • Verify data and make needed corrections, following data correction guidelines.
  • Gather additional information for incomplete documents by liaising with relevant officers.
  • Generate Tax and Property Identification Numbers.
  • Maintain logbooks or activity records as required.
  • Respond to information requests and access relevant files when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with data integrity and security policies.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in web-based data management software and data handling procedures.

Skills:

  • Excellent computer typing skills.
  • Familiarity with common computer applications.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
