Contract Duration: Three (3) months, with the possibility of renewal
The Data Clerk will support the Liberia Revenue Authority’s Real Property Decentralization Project in District #3, Grand Bassa County, by accurately entering Tax Identification and Property Data. This role requires attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare, compile, and sort documents for data entry using platforms like Kobo Collect.
- Review source documents for accuracy before entry into the Tax Administration System.
- Verify data and make needed corrections, following data correction guidelines.
- Gather additional information for incomplete documents by liaising with relevant officers.
- Generate Tax and Property Identification Numbers.
- Maintain logbooks or activity records as required.
- Respond to information requests and access relevant files when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with data integrity and security policies.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge:
- Proficiency in web-based data management software and data handling procedures.
Skills:
- Excellent computer typing skills.
- Familiarity with common computer applications.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
